China Mobile, SK Telecom will form alliance on high-speed mobile networks, mobile payment technology, and other new business areas, according to a December 1, 2011 report by the Yonhap News Agency of Korea. The two companies are projected to hold talks, discussing issues covering mobile payment, healthcare business, wireless data traffic management, and the LTE (Long Term Evolution) services launched in Korea in the summer of 2011. The China Mobile CEO (Chief Executive Officer) will make a trip to Korea this week, and in addition to SK Telecom, the CEO will also visit Samsung Electronics and KT (Korea Telecom).
